Historic Robinson Natorium
The Jayhawks host events at Robinson Natatorium, which has served as the home for Kansas swimming and diving for more than 40 years. The facility has gone through numerous upgrades throughout the years. The current structure features a six-lane, 25-yard competition pool with adjacent diving well, and an eight-lane, 25-meter pool. The diving well contains one-meter boards, three-meter boards and a diving platform. The Jayhawks also train at the Lawrence indoor and outdoor aquatic centers.

Kansas recently overhauled the swimming and diving locker room prior to the 2011-12 season. The revamped locker room features 32 new sit-in lockers that are 18-inches wide, with under-seat and overhead storage, redone floors with epoxy and a Jayhawk logo in the middle. A sofa and chairs will accompany the lockers to serve as a gathering place for student athletes and coaches before and after meets.

Another part of the project called for a new restroom, seven individual showers as well as a training area with an ice machine. Two swimsuit dryers as well as 14-inch vanity mirrors with under counter storage can also be found beyond the locker area.

Driving Directions & Parking Info
Robinson Natatorium is located directly east of Allen Fieldhouse on the campus of the University of Kansas, north of the intersetion of Allen Fieldhouse / Schwegler Drive and Naismith Drive. Parking is free on meet days.

 

Directions To Camp Check-In at Naismith Hall

For Those Of You Entering Lawrence via I-70: Take the West Exit. Go straight ahead (South), this will become Iowa Street. Stay on Iowa Street to 19th (Stop light intersection). Go east on 19th Street. Turn left (north) on Naismith Drive. Turn right (east) on 18th Street. Turn right (south) into Naismith Hall Parking Lot.

For Those Of You Entering Lawrence via Highway 10: Highway 10 becomes 23rd street. Take 23rd street to Naismith Drive. Turn Right (North) onto Naismith Drive. Turn right (east) on 18th Street. Turn right (south) into Naismith Hall Parking Lot.
